Copy Trading, Algos and Bots?

Copy trading is entirely allowed. Halcyon Trader Funding does not limit the number of accounts you may have. Providing you meet the criteria to have additional Live Brokerage Accounts. you can have as many accounts as you would like.  We place no limit on the number of Evaluation and or Funded Accounts you can have. We place no limit on any combination of Evaluation, Funded or Live Brokerage accounts you can have. 

You are allowed to use algorithms (Algos), trading bots, or any semi-automated trading systems in your account. However, we want to make it clear that if you choose to use them, it is entirely your responsibility. While we provide the option, we caution you that using these tools can carry risks. If you decide to proceed with automated trading, you are fully accountable for any results, whether positive or negative. It’s important to ensure that these systems are aligned with your trading strategy and risk management practices, as we cannot assume responsibility for any issues that arise from their use.

Halcyon Trader Funding - Prohibited Conduct and Risk Management Policy

To mitigate prohibited conduct, gambling behavior, and the exploitation of the simulated trading environment, Halcyon Trader Funding enforces the following policy:

  • Any trading account that exceeds 250 total contracts (Micro or Mini) in a single trading day across all instruments will automatically be subject to review by our Risk & Compliance Team.
  • If Halcyon Trader Funding identifies trading activity that, at its sole discretion, is determined to be related to prohibited conduct, we reserve the right to take the following actions:
    • Delete the trading day and any associated profits.
    • Restart the account.
    • Close the account.

Repeat violations of this policy may result in a ban from using all or a portion of the Halcyon Trader Funding Site and Services, at our discretion.

Our goal is to ensure a fair and productive trading environment for all traders.
