Overview
The transition from simulated trading to a live brokerage account at Halcyon Trader Funding is a structured progression based on verified performance, risk behavior, and consistency under simulated market conditions.
Halcyon’s primary objective is to identify traders who have demonstrated the ability to manage risk responsibly, maintain consistency, and produce repeatable performance in a controlled environment — while building toward larger capital opportunities over time.
1. Transition Triggers
A trader may become eligible for transition review upon reaching any of the following milestones:
- Completion of five (5) approved rewards for a single reward account, or
- Achievement of the maximum simulated reward cap ($60,000), or
- Reaching a defined cumulative simulated reward threshold across multiple reward accounts
These milestones are designed to recognize traders who have demonstrated sustained performance over time, rather than isolated or short-term results. Reaching the fifth reward represents the highest standard milestone within a single account. All transition decisions are made at the sole discretion of Halcyon Trader Funding. Live brokerage accounts and any funding beyond the simulated environment are not guaranteed.
2. Your Next Step in the Halcyon Progression Path
Following evaluation, Halcyon will determine the progression path that best supports the trader’s continued growth, development, and long-term capital opportunities.
A. Trader Live Training Program (TLT)
The Trader Live Training Program is an advanced progression path designed for traders who are continuing their development within the Halcyon ecosystem.
During this phase, traders continue operating in a simulated trading environment that mirrors live market conditions, while maintaining access to structured milestone-based rewards throughout the program.
The focus of this stage is refinement and consistency, including:
- Risk management under near-live conditions
- Consistency across multiple trading cycles
- Capital preservation habits
- Loss control and emotional discipline during challenging market conditions
The Trader Live Training Program is not a step backward. It is a continuation of a trader’s development path, designed to strengthen performance while keeping progression and reward opportunities active. Successful completion of the Trader Live Training Program may lead to eligibility for live brokerage account trading.
B. Direct Live Brokerage Account
Traders who demonstrate strong consistency, disciplined risk management, and sustained performance may be approved for direct live brokerage account trading following internal risk review. This pathway allows qualified traders to transition from the simulated environment into live capital participation based on demonstrated readiness and overall trading performance.

3. Live Transition Structure
When a trader progresses beyond the required evaluation and training stages, they may become eligible for participation in a live brokerage account under the following structure:
- Each trader receives one (1) live brokerage trading account for each eligible Reward Account.
- The starting capital allocation of a live brokerage account is determined through internal risk review and performance evaluation. In most cases, the initial capital allocation will be equal to the maximum drawdown amount of the Reward Account that qualified for the live transition.
- Live brokerage accounts are issued only after successful completion of the required progression process and/or the Trader Live Training Program, where applicable.
- For traders transitioning through the Trader Live Training Program, the live account structure and allocation framework will be communicated at the beginning of the program.
