Simulated Trading Account Fees

One-Time Account Purchase

All Halcyon accounts are purchased with a one-time fee, which means there are no subscriptions, no monthly billing, and no automatic rebilling. If you do not pass an account, you will need to purchase a reset to restart your evaluation. Since accounts do not automatically reset with a rebill, any trading after a failure requires a reset.

Upgrade Fee

Some accounts may require an upgrade fee after successfully completing the evaluation phase. This allows Halcyon to offer traders access to simulated trading accounts at a significantly lower initial cost than most other firms. Traders only pay the upgrade fee once they have passed the evaluation, which helps reduce upfront costs while still providing an opportunity to prove their trading ability before moving to a funded account.

Evaluation Account Resets

If a trader fails an evaluation, they can reset the account at any time through the Halcyon Trader Dashboard. A reset provides a fresh account balance, a full drawdown, and all risk parameters restored to their original levels. This effectively gives traders a completely new start at a slightly reduced rate compared to purchasing a brand-new account. In other words, a reset allows you to start over as if the previous attempt never happened, giving you another chance to succeed without the full expense of a new evaluation.
